The bakery at our headquarters in St. Cloud, Minnesota, known as the “Lakeland Bakery”, has baked continuously on the same site for over 100 years. Our state-of-the-art bakeries make the finest wholesale and retail breads, buns, bagels, muffins, donuts, and rolls for grocers, restaurants, supermarkets and distributors all over the Midwest - a trade territory that includes 9 states. Pan-O-Gold Baking Company started as a small retail bakery. It has since grown into one of the leading wholesale bakeries in the country employing over 1000 people, delivering its fresh baked products to customers daily through its network of several hundred trucks.

Pan-O-Gold sells its products under many different brand names including Country Hearth and Village Hearth to virtually every grocery store in its marketing area. We have been an industry leader in developing and selling all natural variety breads, including whole wheat, white wheat, Italian, and cottage breads. We also provide a full line of private label breads and bun products to the finest supermarkets in the upper Midwest.

Our food service sector bakes and distributes to restaurants, schools, hospitals, military bases, as well as fast food restaurants such as Burger King, Arby’s, Hardee’s, and Wendy’s.
